General Conduct
1. Respect and Professionalism: Treat all staff, fellow volunteers, and
community members with respect and courtesy. Maintain a
professional demeanor at all times.
2. Punctuality: Arrive on time for your scheduled shifts. If you are unable
to attend or will be late, please notify your supervisor as soon as
possible.
3. Dress Code: Wear appropriate clothing for your tasks and adhere to
any specific dress code provided by the organization. Closed-toe shoes
and modest attire are recommended.
4. Confidentiality: Respect the privacy and confidentiality of all
individuals you encounter during your community service hours. Do not share
personal information without permission.
5. Safety First: Follow all safety instructions and guidelines. Report any
accidents, injuries, or unsafe conditions to your supervisor immediately.
Responsibilities
1. Task Completion: Complete your assigned tasks to the best of your
ability. If you have questions or need assistance, ask your supervisor.
2. Attendance: Maintain a reliable attendance record. Frequent absences
or tardiness may result in termination of your community service hours role.
3. Communication: Keep an open line of communication with your
supervisor. Provide feedback and share any concerns you may have.
4. No Discrimination or Harassment: Discrimination or harassment of
any kind will not be tolerated. Report any incidents to your supervisor
immediately.
Organizational Policies
1. Drug and Alcohol-Free Workplace: The use of drugs or alcohol is
strictly prohibited during volunteer hours or on the organization’s
premises.
2. Use of Equipment: Use organizational equipment and resources
responsibly. Report any damage or malfunctions to your supervisor.
3. Personal Belongings: The organization is not responsible for personal
belongings. Keep valuables at home or secure them properly.
4. Compliance: Follow all organizational policies and procedures. Failure
to comply may result in disciplinary action, including termination of
your community service hours role.
Commitment Rules:
1.If you pick up a shift and do not show up more than twice, you will be removed from the CSV program. Please note that any previous attendance warnings will still apply. Your (PO) will be notified of your completed hours and informed of your removal from the program.
2. If you do not pick up a shift for two consecutive weeks, your name will be placed on hold in our system. After the third week without claiming a shift, we will send an email to your PO with your hours worked up to that point.
You are responsible for tracking your hours using the Connecteam app. Please remember to clock in when you arrive and clock out when you leave.
Additional Guidelines
1.Positive Attitude: Bring a positive and enthusiastic attitude to your ommunity service hours: Work collaboratively with volunteers and staff. Teamwork is essential for achieving our goals.
3. Learning and Growth: Be open to learning new skills and taking on different tasks. Community service hours is an opportunity for personal and professional growth.
4. Feedback: Provide constructive feedback and suggestions to help improve our volunteer program.
